MB Parfums - Review

Despite going cruelty-free ages ago, I've still struggled to find cruelty-free perfumes that I actually like the smell of, so when I got the chance to sample a couple of MB Parfums scents, I was hoping that that might all change.

I tested out the Spring Rain and Patchouli Clouds scents and have to say that I'm pretty impressed. Both the scents smell so good, one perfect for autumn/winter and one which will be great for spring and summer.

Patchouli Clouds
I really want it to be autumn/winter again so I can start wearing this perfume. It's musky and reminds me of late, dark, cold nights - but in a really good way. It's not overly feminine or girly which is definitely something I look for in a fragrance and I just really want it to be bonfire night after smelling it.

Spring Rain
This is a light, cute fragrance (can you call a fragrance cute?) that makes me want to go sit in a park and talk about all the lovely things going on in the world. It's soft and sweet without being particularly floral, and again, isn't overly feminine, which I've struggled to find with summery smells.

Patchouli Clouds costs £95 for 30ml, and Spring Rain costs £70, both of which seem pretty expensive to me on my student budget. There is the option, though, of ordering a 2ml sample of either scent (or any on the site) which you can get for £4.99. I love this, as it's a great way to try out a few different scents before you commit  - and it's way more affordable.
