12 Days Of Blogmas: Day 9 - Dealing With Family

I’m very lucky that I have a lovely family, so seeing them at Christmas is something that I look forward to rather than dread, but I know this isn’t the case for everyone.

If your family drive you insane, the thought of having to see them at Christmas might drive you a bit insane, but just remember that you don’t have to see them for long.

Whether they’re homophobic, racist, don’t agree with your lifestyle or generally just not your kind of people, no matter what they say, it’s important to stay polite and kind (no matter how hard it is) so that they can’t blame their dickish behaviour on you.

I know for me, the thought of having to see family that I didn’t get on well with would really annoy me, but just don’t let it put a downer on your Christmas and just grin and bear it!

I can’t really talk much about it since I haven’t really experienced it, but if your family are pissing you off and you need to get it out, message me on Twitter and rant to your heart's content - you don’t have to deal with it alone.

What's the best or worst thing that's happened with your family over the Christmas period?
