W7

Last month I wrote a post about cruelty-free cosmetics (see it here), featuring a few different brands and their products. One of these was W7 and while as a whole the review of their products was positive, a few of the bits they'd sent me didn't work with my skin tone or just didn't suit me. So, it was a lovely surprise the other day when I came home from uni to an unexpected parcel from them.

On opening it up, I realised it contained the three products that I'd said weren't the right colours for me in the post, but in different colours. I must admit, I got a little excited by the fact that they'd actually read my post and valued what I thought and was very impressed by the fact they'd gone to the effort to send me products which might suit me better. I received Cheeky Chaps Blush in Darling, Super Brows Pencil in Blonde and Fashion Lipstick in Raspberry Ripple this time and so far, they're working a lot better for me.

Cheeky Chaps Blush - Darling
While the Popsicle blush palette didn't really show up on my skin, Darling is perfect for me. I'm pretty fair and it gives me colour without being overly dark and for only £5.95 is a really good multi-blush palette.

Fashion Lipstick - Raspberry Ripple
Compared to the very light pink Coconut Ice shade I received last time, Raspberry Ripple is more of a dark pink. It suits me a lot more and doesn't really transfer when drinking but it is very pearlescent which I'm not into so much - I'm not sure that this is the range for me, but it does seem to be a very good quality lipstick for £3.50.

Super Brows Pencil - Blonde
I thought the brow pencil I received last time (3 In 1 Brow Master in Dark Brown) was too dark, but I've since dyed my hair again and it suits me a lot better now. This time I received Super Brows Pencil in Blonde which is a little too light for me and I'll be giving to my sister because it is a really good quality pencil, especially for £3.95.

Honestly, I'm so impressed by W7, not just because of the quality of their products, but also because they went out of their way to make sure I have products that I'm happy with. I've sometimes struggled to find high-quality cruelty-free cosmetics at reasonable prices, but W7 definitely have me as a customer for life now.
