Crazy Rumors Lip Balms

One of the first things on my winter 'to buy' list is always lip balms, but since going cruelty-free, I wasn't entirely sure where to look to find cute balms just with none of the testing.

Then I found out about Crazy Rumors. They're an American company who make lip balms and colours with a cruelty-free and vegan ethos -  and they're adorable too.

I tried the Peppermint Lemongrass, Gingerbread and HibisKiss balms and have to say I love them all. They all contain shea butter which makes them feel lovely on your lips, alongside having a nourishing but not slimy feel (a problem I find with a lot of lip balms).

While Peppermint Lemongrass and Gingerbread are both clear balms when applied, HibisKiss has a coral tint to it, making it perfect for wearing every day, giving your lips a bit of colour without having to constantly keep checking to see if your lipstick has smudged.

The balms vary in price with Peppermint Lemongrass and Gingerbread costing $3.49 and HibisKiss costing $4.99. When you add on shipping to the UK at $33.95, it does seem ridiculously expensive, but if you were doing a bulk order, I guess it wouldn't work out too bad. If you're lucky enough to live in the US though, shipping starts at $2.95 and these balms really would make perfect Christmas presents.
